‘Evergreen’ Images For Your Website

Most business terms or phrases really grate on me, I’m not sure why, but the phrase ‘going forward’ makes me want to run a mile!! ‘

‘Evergreen’ is another phrase that I don’t love, but does exactly what it says on the tin. Creating Evergreen images or content for your website, means content that can be used all year round, and in lots of different contexts. For example, an image showing the tools you use to create your products/work, on a neutral background can be used for lots of blog posts, social media posts and on your website time and time again.

Compare that to a finished product, photographed in a Christmas/Winter scene, and really it’s only useful to use at that time of year. It would look out of place when you’re trying to sell a summer product.

Donna from ‘Make Your Own Happy’ and I collaborated to create some Evergreen images for her, to use on her social media pages, to promote her workshops and for her website. She popped into the studio for a chat, where we discussed her branding, where she see’s her business going over the next year, and what images she felt like she was missing that she needs for her digital marketing.

She then created a couple of mini Pinterest boards so I could really see her vision, dropped off her products to me, and went on holiday! Whilst she was away, I got to work creating her images, using her own props to tell her brand story, ready for when she came home.

Having a library of images that you can pull from really makes creating your social media posts a breeze, and by using your own products, props and tools, your customers will know it’s you, without having to even look at your name.

Get in touch if you’d like some Evergreen images to use for your brand, I’d love to hear all about you and what you do!
