Supermarket Flowers

I’ve entered a surface design challenge on Spoonflower! Spoonflower is an online company that prints fabric and wallpaper on demand, you can also have products such as bed linen, tea towels, cushions and table runners sewn by them.

This design challenge appealed as it is called ‘Bold Florals’, and flowers are one of my favourite things, so I got to work on it straight away.

I designed a lovely watercolour Forget-Me-Not pattern on a cream background, and loved it, popped my entry in and forgot about it. Then in the morning before the deadline, I decided it didn’t fit the brief enough, withdrew my application, and only had an hour to design a new one!

But this one I love, and ticks all the boxes, Florals - Tick, Bold - Tick, different to the other entries - Tick!
