Vogue - Inventing The Runway

Earlier in the year I visited Lightroom in London for the ‘Vogue Inventing The Runway show’. It’s a new to me space that opened in 2023, but this was the first exhibition that really caught my eye.

It was a fantastic look at how catwalks/runways have changed over the years, with some fantastic visuals and music. I loved the comfy seating areas, and having gone on a weekday, it was pretty quiet in there. They had designed the entrance as if you are walking down to be on the catwalk yourself, and it was such a great experience.

The venue it’s self was really well laid out, and felt like going into a private viewing, very different to other exhibitions. I’d definitely go back to see another show there. I’m always on the lookout for inspiration so these kinds of exhibitions are right up my street.
