Why Have Regular Photoshoots?

Today’s online world can feel like a conveyer belt of NEW. Which in some ways can be good, new products, yes please. New workshops, yes and I’ll bring a friend too. But constantly creating new content for social media, blog posts, your website, workshop details etc is time consuming.

Here’s where having regular photoshoots can really help you out. They not only give you more time to concentrate on your business, whether thats the making or marketing, but it also gives you high quality imagery to be proud to put out there. You pour your heart and soul into making beautiful products, or taking the time to learn new skills to teach to others, and then offer up poorly lit phone photos, and hope it sells.

If you wrote down all the time spent on creating social media content, or trying to take photos of yourself working, it would add up. How much would you charge for those hours if you had to bill yourself for them?

Having a ready made library of well lit, modern photographs, showing those details and telling your own brand story will really help sell your product or workshop. It gives you instant idea’s of what to post about, maybe a look behind the scenes, or showing your craft in progress.

There’s also the option of having product photoshoots with themes such as Christmas or Easter.

I offer both Remote Product Photography (Where you send me the products, I shoot them and send them back to you), and photoshoots where we spend a few hours together in my studio, or your workshop creating beautiful imagery for you to use on your website, social media channels, newsletters etc.
