Forsythia Reference Photos

There’s nothing better than getting to take my own reference/studio photos. I can take the same flower/branch/object and photograph it from multiple angles, over several days if the blooms need to open.

Take this set up of some Forsythia from our garden, I wanted to get photos from lots of angles of the flowers so my art doesn’t look flat. These images also provide the colour pallet for me to use in Procreate.
